The BORT system is presented at the Transmashholding JSC stand in India

The first International Industrial Exhibition INNOPROM is taking place at the Bharat Mandapam Exhibition Complex (New Delhi) from September 9 to 11, 2026. India", organized with the support of the Ministries of Industry and Trade of Russia and India on the eve of the 18th BRICS Summit. Transmashholding JSC (TMX) is the official partner of the event, presenting its latest intellectual developments in the field of railway transport.

The locomotive safety system "BORT" is presented among the exhibits at the TMX stand. This system, which has already been successfully operated on the railways of Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia, demonstrates the high level of Russian technology in terms of digitalization of rolling stock and trouble-free operation. In a single exhibition, it is presented alongside other advanced solutions: an integrated safety management system for subways, an intelligent "Virtual coupling" for freight trains, and the ESSO-M axle counting system.

The high technological level of Russian developments was noted by the Deputy Minister of Trade and Industry of India, Amardeep Singh Bhatia, who visited the TMX stand.

Participation in the exhibition highlights the strategic nature of the partnership between Russia and India in the railway industry. A vivid confirmation of this is the largest project implemented by the joint venture of TMX and the Indian RVNL (Kinetic Railway Solutions Limited) for the development, production and 35-year maintenance of 1920 Vande Bharat electric trains for Indian Railways. The project has already been awarded prestigious international awards in the field of industrial design: Red Dot Award (Germany), A’ Design Award (Italy) and India's Best Design Awards 2026 (India).
